Maths Help Wherever You Are on the Isle of Man
The Isle of Man is a small island, but getting to weekly tuition still isn't always easy — especially from the north or the west of the island during term time. That's why I offer two flexible options: face-to-face lessons here in Douglas, or live online one-to-one sessions you can join from home in Onchan, Peel, Ramsey, Castletown, Port Erin or anywhere else on the island.
Every student is different, so each lesson is planned around the individual — their current confidence, the topics they find tricky, and the qualification they're working towards. Whether your child is starting out with KS1 and KS2 number work, preparing for the 11+, building solid foundations at KS3, or aiming for the grade they need at GCSE or A Level, lessons are paced to suit them.
As a qualified teacher holding a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and a BEng (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering — with A grades in A Level Maths and Further Maths and over 15 years of experience — my goal is always the same: to make maths feel clear, logical and a lot less stressful, while steadily rebuilding confidence.
