My Approach
Patient, encouraging and playful. I use visual methods and games to make ideas click, gently fill any gaps, and keep young learners feeling capable rather than discouraged.
Where It Leads
Children finish with secure foundations, a calmer attitude to maths, and the confidence to move up into KS3 and secondary school ready to keep succeeding.
Why KS1 & KS2 Maths Tutoring Helps
The primary years are where a child's relationship with maths is really made or lost. A few missed building blocks early on — number bonds, times tables, place value — can quietly hold a child back for years. Catching and fixing those gaps early makes everything that follows easier.
My KS1 and KS2 lessons are relaxed and one-to-one, paced entirely around your child. Whether they need to catch up, keep up, or stretch ahead, the focus is always on understanding and confidence — not just getting the right answer.
